1. Data Collection & The Log Sanitizer

Sentinel is designed with privacy as a core tenet. We collect minimal data necessary for the "Autopilot" functionality.

  • Sanitized Logs: Before any server log leaves your Drone, it passes through our local "Log Sanitizer". This process removes IP addresses, email addresses, and recognized sensitive patterns.
  • Error Patterns: We collect abstract error signatures (e.g., "Connection refused on port 5432") to build the Knowledge Book.
  • System Telemetry: CPU usage, RAM usage, and service status are monitored to trigger health checks.

2. Use of Data

We use the collected data for the following purposes:

  • To identify and diagnose server issues across the Sentinel network.
  • To verify the success rate of automated fixes.
  • To provide you with analytics via the Queen Dashboard.
  • To process payments and manage your subscription (via Stripe).

3. Third-Party Services

Stripe: We use Stripe for payment processing. We do not store your credit card information on our servers. Stripe's use of your data is governed by their Privacy Policy.

Google Analytics: We use Google Analytics on our marketing site to understand user traffic. This is not active within the Drone agent itself.

4. Data Retention

Raw logs (even sanitized ones) are retained only as long as necessary to generate a "Solution Pattern". Once a pattern is verified in the Knowledge Book, the raw source logs are typically discarded or aggregated into anonymous statistics.
